ABOUT ME
I was born in Pescara, on the Adriatic, and grew up on a boat. Every summer of my childhood was spent on a dinghy or a sailing yacht, working my way around the Italian islands — the Tremiti first, then Croatia, Greece, and the whole Tyrrhenian coast from Liguria to Sicily.

I started racing offshore in 2007 and never stopped: club regattas on the Adriatic, the Italian Offshore Championships, four ORC World Championships, three editions of the 151 Miglia. My place on board is usually the trimmer's — the person who spends hours adjusting a sail by centimetres. It taught me patience, and how to read a boat.

I have skippered charters since 2013 — private owners and charter companies, monohulls and catamarans up to 54 feet, from Pescara to the Bay of Naples. I like the word host as much as skipper: a good week at sea is as much about the table, the anchorage and the people as it is about the passage.

Ashore I am a lawyer and a civil and commercial mediator, also I am a partner in a company that builds carbon components for the marine industry. It means I can help with the paperwork of a boat as well as the sailing of it — and that finding an agreement between people is my expertise.

THREE REASONS TO SAIL WITH ME
  • 1
You will feel safe without noticing why
Eighteen seasons of offshore racing, a professional Italian skipper's licence and current safety, first-aid and radio training. I do the checks before you come aboard; what you see is a calm crew and an easy day.

I know these waters like the back of my hand
I was born in Pescara, have sailed the Italian islands since childhood, and have skippered charters around Naples, the Pontine Islands and the Amalfi Coast for more than ten years. I know which anchorage has the evening light, which harbour has the better dinner, and where to hide when the wind turns.

I am a host, not only a skipper
As a lawyer and professional mediator ashore, I am good at people — at the table, with the marina office, with a crew of eight who have never met. My guests come back for the sailing and for the company.
The best charters start with a conversation.
Let's talk about your week at sea!
